Visual EDI Desktop™ features an intuitive, graphical front-end that simplifies the initial tasks of establishing hierarchies, building maps, and entering Trading partner data. The powerful hierarchy builder and user-friendly mapper tool allow you to convert virtually any flat, EDI, or proprietary data file from one format to another for easy integration of EDI information into existing back office applications.

With Visual EDI Desktop™, you define the structure of incoming and outgoing documents and the relationships between the documents by linking components of one to another. Because it enables you to map one input file to multiple output files, you can create a single host application file while satisfying the requirements of all your different trading partners. The latest release of Visual EDI Desktop™ software product, version 6.05, is for you if you need a complete EDI package for your business to run as a 32-bit application for Windows NT and Windows 9x-based personal computers. This latest release of Visual EDI Desktop™ provides many enhancements, including:

• Improved translator error handling and message recovery features
• X12 and UCS compliance checking
• Enhanced on-line help capabilities
• Support for the TRADACOMS EDI standard

Technical Requirements: Windows XP/2000/NT/98/95/Me personal computer with a minimum of:

• Pentium P150 for Windows 9x (Pentium-II 350 for XP; Pentium 233 for 2000/NT)
• 16 MB of RAM (256 MB for XP; 192 MB for 2000/NT)
• 20 MB of available disk space
• Either a CD ROM drive or a 3.5" floppy drive to load software
• A 9600 bps, 14.4 Kbps, or 28.8 Kbps modem for Value Added Network connection
