Visual EDI Manager™, the run-time version of Visual EDI Desktop™, is a front-end translator that can be used in a variety of situations:

• Hub and spoke environments will find Visual EDI Manager™ to be the perfect solution when the hub wants to be the first line of support for all of its spokes. The hub installs Visual EDI Desktop™ at its home base and distributes fully pre-configured copies of Visual EDI Manager™ at its spoke locations.
• Companies wishing to have a development tool available to them at all times can use Visual EDI Desktop™ for this purpose and use Visual EDI Manager™ on workstations to carry out translation and transmission at predefined times.
• OEMs looking for an EDI engine for their software packages simply use Visual EDI Desktop™ for transaction mapping and embed Visual EDI Manager™ into their applications.
• Systems integrators will find that Visual EDI Manager™ is the ideal solution for customers desiring a low-cost, fully integrated EDI product. Simply use Visual EDI Desktop™ to build the transactions and perform mapping. Customers need only execute the translation process.

• Pentium P150 for Windows 9x (Pentium-II 350 for XP; Pentium 233 for 2000/NT)
• 16 MB of RAM (256 MB for XP; 192 MB for 2000/NT)
• 20 MB of available disk space
• Either a CD ROM drive or a 3.5" floppy drive to load software
• A 9600 bps, 14.4 Kbps, or 28.8 Kbps modem for Value Added Network connection
